I have practiced family medicine for more than 32 years, after finishing my medical training at Indiana University School of Medicine. After realizing how superficially that training prepared him to manage atherosclerotic diseases, I began studying lipoprotein physiology, eventually becoming a founding diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. Watching my profession fall further behind the cutting edge of cardiovascular prevention, I began to lose faith in healthcare's financial conflicts of interest inherent in third-party payment system. I began a private direct-pay family practice, which provided me the freedom from the educational and practice constraints enforced by third-party payers. I began studying functional medicine to address a health challenge of my own and achieved functional medicine certification from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. I practice functional family medicine with a special focus on biotoxin-mediated illness and Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome. I view myself as the servant to my patients, who are my employers, empowering them to be the "boss" in the doctor-patient relationship.

We provide medical advice with the intent to cure contractually freed from conflicts of interest from insurance, government, pharmaceutical, supplement, testing and imaging providers. We provide both urgent acute and chronic disease care including biopsy, laceration repair, orthopedic injury management. While we do not provide IV services on site we can order them through nearby providers. We allow our patients to use our discounts on supplements and laboratories at our cost. In short, we are a full-spectrum family practice that is insulated from conflicts of interest.
