Dr. Ryan Partovi, JD, NMD, MIfHI

Dr. Ryan D. Partovi is a physician, researcher, and lecturer who has spent more than two decades advancing a more personalized, preventive, and intellectually rigorous model of medicine. Long before “personalized medicine” became a buzzword, Dr. Partovi recognized its promise while working as a researcher at the Emory University Center for Molecular Medicine in 1998. Since then, he has devoted his career to helping bring evidence-based, individualized, integrative medicine to the public.

After completing his graduate medical education at Sonoran University of Health Sciences, Dr. Partovi went on to complete the first residency of its kind in Generative Medicine at the Center for Personalized Medicine and the University of Bridgeport Health Sciences Center. There, he trained alongside Dr. Peter D’Adamo, author of the New York Times bestseller Eat Right 4 Your Type, and further deepened his commitment to nutrition, nutrigenomics, and human biochemical individuality. Since scoring in the top 10% of examinees to enter the first class of Fellows in 2003, Dr. Partovi has remained deeply involved with the Institute for Human Individuality, becoming a Master in 2005, serving on the Faculty since 2011, and serving as Secretary of the Institute of Naturopathic Generative Medicine since 2014.

Dr. Partovi’s philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that patients should be treated as individuals, not as statistical averages. His work emphasizes root-cause analysis, clinical nutrition, nutrigenomics, nutraceuticals, and mechanistically grounded, evidence-informed decision-making tailored to the person in front of him. He has provided remote consultations since 2011 and has operated a 100% virtual practice since August 2019, allowing him to extend this highly individualized model of care to patients far beyond the traditional office setting.
