About

JP is a family nurse practitioner with over 17 years of combined experience in urgent care, ER, family practice, occupational health, and integrative medicine. He holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University and a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Washington. He has completed additional specialized training in the field of functional medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine and has been certified as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).

Additionally, he has received an associate's degree in computer science and has worked extensively in the integration of healthcare and information science. JP completed a residency in family practice as well as multiple internships and has years of leadership experience as a charge nurse in the management of multiple ERs as well as in the development of evidence based practice standards in both ER and urgent care settings.

In all his time working in conventional healthcare systems, JP saw firsthand many of the gaps in care that led to people being shuffled through systems without receiving the help and support that they truly needed. JP has a passion for providing tailored support to each patient and has had the opportunity to serve thousands across multiple states, as well as internationally in medical mission work in developing countries. He has partnered with multiple international relief and mission organizations, engaging in remote clinics, leadership development, and training nurses and medical staff.
