Kimberly Biss, MD
WomensCare Florida, New Beginnings OBGYN
OB/GYN (Obstetrics, Gynecology), Women's Health
About
I was born and grew up in the Northeastern US. My upper and graduate education occurred in Massachusetts. My husband and I then got tired of winter and moved to Florida. I have trained and practiced in St. Petersburg, Florida since 1994. I always practiced as a general OBGYN. In 1993 I decided to stop delivering babies. I now only practice Gynecology.
I have always treated my patients with respect and worked with them to arrive at a treatment plan together. I always provide multiple options, one of which is always to do nothing. I respect those who do their own research and am willing to explore alternative approaches. There are many ways to skin a cat, so to speak.
In 2020, however, the drapes were opened to expose many flaws in the current medical model. I have since questioned many things believed to be true. Medical freedom is paramount and care should always be individualized. I love the type of medicine I practice--just not in the system it is practiced in.
I have been married since I graduated medical school, have two adult children as well as two cats and a dog. I am an avid Tampa Bay Lightning fan--Go Bolts! I enjoy weight lifting as well as fermented grapes.
