About
Dr. Rutherford started a direct primary care practice in 2015 after working inside the dysfunctional medical system for 9 years, in order to provide individualized care for her patients. Her team, including 2 nurse practitioners provides primary care for people of all ages with an emphasis on lifestyle changes and wellness. Wanda Schlaug APRN is certified in functional medicine, which helps our team offer a wide range of treatment options for patients. We also provide addiction treatment, including medication assisted treatment for alcoholism and opioid dependence when appropriate. We strive to minimize pharmaceuticals and de-prescribe whenever possible. We do not provide vaccinations and accept families who choose not to vaccinate their children. Our guiding principle is informed consent for all patients prior to recommending any intervention.
