Whitney Cooley, DMS, PA-C

I began my healthcare career in 2010 as a respiratory therapist and went on to become an ECMO specialist. I developed a passion for patient advocation and education with a goal to make patients stakeholders in their health. Wanting to embrace these qualities and expand my knowledge to better advocate for patients and their quality of care, I went back to school to become a PA.

Upset with the medical structure, a hope for practicing medicine the way I dreamed of was ignited when I learned of functional medicine and direct primary care as these were terms I was previously unfamiliar with.

I went on to graduate from Yale University with my Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies and completed my Doctor of Medical Science from Butler University.

Since then, I have learned from and worked for Dr. Saleeby at Carolina Holistic Medicine via telemedicine and have opened my own direct primary care in my hometown in Indiana where I have a farm and am a beekeeper.
